About English Reading Online (ENRO)
ENglish Reading Online (ENRO) is a project dedicated to documenting and analyzing English reading comprehension and its component skills in university student pools within and across countries of the world. ENRO collaborators have recruited samples of L2 speakers of English from 13 countries including Japan, Mongolia, Serbia, and Thailand. ENRO also contains 7 samples of L1 English speaking controls (from Canada, New Zealand, UK, and USA). All materials for the ENRO database are collected online. These new data will contribute to the evaluation of how group differences in language background (L1) and individual differences in component skills of reading affect reading proficiency in the same L2 (English).
